Meet our principal

Hi, I’m Sue Hartley and I am incredibly proud to be the Principal of this wonderful school. Thank you for your interest in our school website and I extend a very warm welcome to all families and prospective students. Families can approach our school with the confidence that their child will be cared for, challenged and celebrated in all that they do.

Here at Scoresby Primary School we pride ourselves on having a vibrant school community. We make strong connections with our families, students and the wider community, and all staff take the time to build strong personal relationships with students, which fosters a sense of belonging and security.

We know that children perform at their best when they feel safe and happy. Our students are at the centre of all decision making in the school. We offer an exciting educational program for all year levels prep to Grade 6, within a caring and supportive environment. We aim to grow students socially, emotionally and academically.

Our staff are highly committed to their profession and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their teaching. At Scoresby Primary School we aim to provide authentic and engaging learning and we encourage students to aim high, try their best and be respectful and responsible school community members. We target each student’s individual needs in their learning, and track learning growth and progress for all students. Our academic achievements are a direct result of the outstanding educational programs on offer at Scoresby Primary. Our motto for learning is – Excellence for ALL!
