Scoresby Primary School is a medium sized school comprising of approximately 230 students. Families can approach our school with the confidence that their child will be cared for, challenged and celebrated in all that they do.

At Scoresby Primary School we aim to provide authentic and engaging learning, within a safe and supportive environment. We encourage students to aim high, try their best and be respectful and responsible school community members. We target each student’s individual needs in their learning, and track learning growth and progress for all students. Our academic achievements are a direct result of the outstanding educational programs on offer at Scoresby Primary.
The staff at Scoresby Primary School are highly professional educators who bring a wealth of passion, knowledge and commitment to the daily practice of educating children in their care. Our academic and co-curricular programs aim to develop the skills, knowledge and understandings that children need to be effective 21st century citizens.
Specialist programs are offered here at Scoresby Primary school. Children partake in weekly sessions of Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Mandarin. We offer extra opportunities for students to become involved with the school community by joining activities such as, our private music tuition, choir, chickens carers and gardening club.
Our school has a set of core values that we call our H.E.A.R.T. Values
These HEART values are taught to students, and form part of our expected school wide behaviour plan. Our saying is “At Scoresby Primary School - we have HEART!” We take great pride in being an inclusive school.
In 2020 Scoresby PS joined the Resilience Project. The three attributes that improve a child’s resilience are taught and practiced at school. Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness –G.E.M. are the fundamental skills that build one’s resilience. G.E.M. is a common language and practice we share amongst our whole school community.
